The Bluffer rules
The Bluffer is the game where lying scores points. A wild question drops: "What's the weirdest job that actually exists?". Everyone makes up a believable fake answer.
All the answers get shuffled in with the real one, then everyone votes. Finding the truth scores points, and so does fooling the others. The sneakiest player at the table wins.
An example round
"Petrichor is the smell of ___." You make up "burnt toast". Two players vote for your bluff → +40 pts. The real answer was "earth after rain".
3 to 8 players · a single phone · offline
- 1Each round, a fill-in-the-blank question appears (rare word, odd fact): read it out loud
- 2One by one, in secret, everyone makes up a believable fake answer (a bluff)
- 3All the bluffs + the real answer are shuffled: vote for the one you think is true
- 4+30 pts if you find the truth, +20 pts for every player fooled by your bluff, +15 if you wrote the real answer without knowing it · voting for your own bluff scores nothing
- 55 rounds, 3 to 8 players: the sneakiest player wins!
