Purple rules
Purple is the party card game that ramps up the pressure, for adults 18 and over. On your turn, one bet on the next card in the deck: red or black, higher or lower than your last card… or Purple, when you feel the next two will be different colors.
Win the bet: the card joins your pile and you go again. Three right in a row? You can pass your pile to the next player. Miss: one penalty per card in your pile, with a cap, or a dare instead. Water and soft drinks count, and never if you're driving.
An example round
Léa says "Red": 8♥, onto her pile. "Higher": a King, 2 cards. "Purple": 4♣ + 9♦, 4 cards! "Lower": an Ace… wrong. 4 + 1 = 5 sips (or a dare).

- 1A shuffled 52-card deck, face down: on your turn, ONE bet on the next card
- 2Red (♥ ♦) or Black (♠ ♣) · Purple: the next 2 cards are different colours
- 3Higher / Lower than the top card of your pile (once it has one) · Ace is highest, same value = wrong
- 4Right: the card goes on your pile (2 for a Purple) and you go again
- 5After 3 right answers in a row, you can pass your pile to the next player: if they miss, it's theirs
- 6Wrong: 1 sip per card on the pile + the missed card(s) (cap 5 or 10, or a dare), pile discarded, next player
- 7Fewest sips wins · Variants: Hard++, Trap card (2♠), Magic king (King ♥), Purple only
