What's it like?
A real game of Werewolf.
Night falls. The werewolves open their eyes…
The village votes out Sarah… just a Villager. The werewolves are cracking up.
How to play
In 4 steps, on a single phone.
- 1Everyone checks their role in secret
- 2At night, the phone wakes each role
- 3By day, debate and then vote
- 4The village must catch every wolf
Werewolf rules
Werewolf, without cards and without sacrificing anyone to be the narrator. The phone deals the roles in secret, then narrates the night out loud and calls each role, who comes to play quietly on the screen.
At dawn, you discover the victims, debate against a timer and vote. Werewolves, Seer, Witch, Hunter… Everyone plays, from 5 to 16 players, and a game gets going in two minutes.
An example round
The phone announces "The werewolves open their eyes…". They pick Hugo. At dawn, Hugo is dead: he was the Seer! The village debates for 3 minutes and votes out Sarah… just a Villager. The werewolves are cracking up.
5 to 16 players · a single phone · offline
- 1Enter your names: the phone suggests a role setup (Werewolves, Seer, Witch, Hunter…)
- 2Pass the phone around: everyone holds a finger down to see their role in secret
- 3At night, phone in the middle, eyes shut: its voice calls each role, who opens their eyes and plays on the screen
- 4Without the phone's voice, a host who isn't playing reads the texts, eyes open
- 5During the day: the phone reveals who died, you debate (with a timer), then vote by show of hands or in secret
- 6The village wins if it eliminates every werewolf · the werewolves win as soon as they match the villagers in number
- 7Cupid (from 12 players) links two lovers: if one dies, so does the other. If they're the last two alive, love wins. The Guardian (from 11) protects one player each night
